I have been writing since I learned to scratch lead on paper. As a child I wrote tiny stories that made little sense to me, but which I felt obligated to write down anyway. As a teenager I wrote the life of the girl I wished I could be. Today, I write about what my life has become infused with dreams of the past and hopes for the future.
I am thankful to make a living at home with words. I am here when my kids come home from school, get a boo boo, or just want to crawl on my lap and cry for no unknown reason.
Today, I write from the heart for money but every word comes from deep within my soul. I also spend lots of time reading the tiny stories of my nine-year-old, even though they mean nothing to her at this point in her life. They mean so much to me!
