Sophie Walton
I am a bankruptcy paralegal working for a busy law firm in South Carolina. I have been a paralegal for over 20 years with experience in real estate, family law, probate and now bankruptcy. I have been a bankruptcy paralegal for fourteen years and worked for a bankruptcy trustee for nine of those years. I have extensive experience in all chapters of bankruptcy including business and consumer bankruptcy filings. In addition to being a paralegal, I was the office manager at my previous firm, which kept me constantly seeking new ways of improving business and employee performance (I still find myself doing that for my new firm). In addition to an Associate of Arts Degree and my Paralegal Degree, I have a Bachelor of Political Science Degree. I concentrated my studies on world politics and finances as opposed to election politics. In addition to my work as a paralegal, my husband and I are constantly working in our home, my parent s home and our church doing home improvement projects (he works for a large concrete company and has a woodworking business as well). We enjoy doing our own home improvements even though sometimes we learn through trial and error. I am interested in a variety of topics and try to remain current on issues that affect my family, my community and my country.
