Sheila Shavonne
Born in, MO, I have lived in Michigan all of my life. I have a BA in Business Administration and Marketing, a master in Instructional Technology, a master in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading, 45 credits in a master degree program in Secondary and Special Education, and working on a PHD in Educational Leadership and Teaching and Learning. I believe that by securing a means to obtain a doctorate degree in education, I can establish a sufficient platform that allows me to continue my ability to engage in future research projects that can ultimately lead to more positive changes for the betterment of all types of individuals and improve their options for exploring new and improved ways to sufficiently meet and succeed their goals that would also enhance opportunities for others. I presently teach English Review, English Comp, Word Processing, Electronic Spreadsheets, and Communications at a local community college and a private 4 year college part-time. I am a divorced mother of 4 sons, retired Army vet, and both of my adult sons are in the military, one in the Army and one in the Air Force. I am a fashion designer, author of several children's books, poetry, short stories, and inspirational books, and proud parent, grandparent, and grandparent. I love jazz, light classical, soft rock, R&B, and oldies music, and I tutor and mentor children and young adults, mainly in literature.
