ShawnTe Pierce is a freelance fashion designer, writer and editor with over a decade of professional experience in fashion, beauty, finance and Christian Studies.
With a Bachelor's of Science in Apparel Design from the University of Delaware, ShawnTe's main focus centered on computer-aided design or CAD for which she also served as a teaching assistant. She uses her education and professional experience to provide valuable insight into fashion design and the fashion industry, as a whole, for those who desire a career in fashion. ShawnTe's work in fashion crosses over into beauty and as an Avon Independent Sales Representative she stays on top of beauty trends and personal care management.
ShawnTe also has professional experience in finance from over seven years working at JPMC in both the retail and investment banking lines of business. She is an advocate of consumer financial literacy especially concerning consumer's rights with regards to credit card use and teaching others the different ways they are charged interest on such financial products as auto loans, mortgages and credit cards.
