Sunshine Ross
I like when someone asked Jiddu Krishnamurti "Who are you?" to which he replied "Who am I is not important because I am nobody. The more important question is - who are you?"
Sunshine has been a yoga teacher since 2005 and started practising since 1999. She is a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor as well as a Power Pilates New York certified instructor.
More importantly, she considers herself a constant student of Buddhism in the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition under the tutelage of Lama Lobsang Chunzom, descending from a long line of learned Gelugpas including Je Geshe Michael Roach, Je Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tharchin and His Holiness Trijian Rinpoche. She has had the good fortune to received group initiations from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Professionally, she worked for hotels and spas in the Caribbean, Africa and Central America including Rosewood Little Dix Bay in sunny Virgin Gorda. Currently, Sunshine and husband Glen direct a spa and wellness consulting company in Central America and runs meditation, yoga and vacation retreats from their home in Nicaragua.
