John Everett Forrest
Raised in Indiana by parents from New Hampshire, I traveled early in life. Drives and train rides to the east coast every summer gave me a desire to go places, see things. Joining the Marine Corps straight out of high school, took me out west, and although I went back to Indiana for awhile, I have been permanently seated in California for about 18 years.
I have had a slew of occupations, and am a true Jack Of All Trades, mostly in the mechanical/technical field.
I have a need to express myself artistically, and have done that through photography, poetry and song writing. I am a member of BMI for the song writing, and have worked around musicians my whole life,
I was first published as a poet when I was 17, I have self published 2 photography books on flowers, and am currently working on my first poetry book and screenplay.
