I first felt inspired to put my thoughts in writing at the time my grandson was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7 months. I felt so deeply at that time that I began by putting down my words in the form of a poem about my grandson. After that I wrote several more poems as my thoughts inspired me. We became involved in the "Relay for Life" due to my grandson's cancer, and I then wrote a summary of his story to read at the "Relay, and which is included in my published articles. I only write as inspired, and have no idea of when that will happen next.
