Tara Jorgensen

I am a mother, my four-year-old son is my life! I love being a mom, watching my son grow, learn, and come into his own person! It's so amazing to watch the daily changes that take place in him. I try hard to enjoy every moment of it, and hate when life happens and makes me feel robbed of time spent with him!

I am a licensed cosmetologist, I went into cosmetology with the hopes of becoming a makeup artist, for Hollywood, that was my dream. However I went to talk to the director at MUD, a makeup school in Burbank, CA and was discouraged by competition. He said to get an esthetician license to fall back on. I went for cosmetology instead because of more education. I love everything about the beauty industry, I love making people feel good about their appearance!

I recently discovered a love for writing. I have always expressed myself best through written words, but recently found that I absolutely everything about writing. I love researching, finding the flow to make an article or story come together, and just having the opportunity to let my mind be free to do it's thing! I now write articles on AC, I am working on a book, I also have a couple websites.

Life is a journey! It is meant to be lived, enjoyed, taken seriously while managing to find balance and laugh at the mishaps. I look forward to all of it. Some days seem to be my "lucky day" always being in the right place at the right time with every pull of the universe flowing in my direction. Other days I get lost on my usual route, get stuck in traffic, or blocked in by three cars on an empty freeway when I'm late for work, lock my keys in my car and have to call AAA twice, my bra breaks, I spill my coffee in my lap and then run out of gas. Both days I love, I try and learn from every experience and grow as a person every day.
