I am a Firefighter in Canada and continue to upgrade my education. This has been very important to my promotional success. I am now a District Chief, ( or Battalion Chief), and the only way I got there was by upgrading my education. I am currently working on a Bachelor of Public Administration degree. I know the value of education. I have two children, both attending Universities today. I love the outdoors! Camping, Hiking, Canoeing...anything outdoors in nature, especially in remote places. This is a photo of me in Algonguin Park Canada on a hiking/camping trip in April. We did a 50km hike with snow still on the ground and nighttime temperatures that went below freezing. It was awesome!
