Beth VanHoose

Beth VanHoose is a freelance writer, with over 5 years experience writing for the web in a variety of subjects. She has written for a variety of websites, and maintains several personal blogs. Samples of her work can be seen at her website, Writing In The Sand. She writes poetry as a hobby, and has two novels and one children's story in progress. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Missouri State University. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Beth worked in broadcast television for 24 years.

Beth currently lives in Kingman, Arizona. Prior to moving to Kingman in 2008, Beth lived in the Kansas City area all of her life. When she's not writing, Beth enjoys reading, making beaded and wire jewelry, camping, volunteer work, animals and finding bargains. She looks forward to spending time exploring her new surroundings with her husband and stepsons, and playing with her furbabies - puppy Whitley and cats Max and Buddy. Currently, she works part-time at her local community college library.
