Knowledge multiplies when shared, and though I am expert at nothing except being me, I love to learn and teach. I do my best to report accurate facts, checked and rechecked, but in many cases I offer an opinion, which should always be taken with a grain of salt. You know the old saying about opinions...everybody's got one. Mine are given only to stimulate thought and conversation by presenting one way of looking at things.
I was a teenage mom (one daughter and five sons) who struggled an awful lot to raise her family, but because of the kindness of others, I now have the opportunity to recieve an education at a prestigious college. Things are really looking up for myself and my kids, and it relieves my soul to know they will never have to face the difficulties I did. It is my desire to pay my blessings forward by passing on what I have observed and learned. What else but the mind can expand indefinately without bursting? I am a curious wanderer who intends to live my life with open mind and noble heart in the hopes that my children will follow in my footsteps.
My love and pride for my kids (and now, my triplet grandsons, born in 2009) is my one selfish luxury, and even during the worst of times, I've never forgotten how wonderfully lucky I am.
