Thomas West
Thomas grew up in West Virginia, where he earned a B.A. in English, History, and Classics from Marshall University. He went on to earn an M.A. in English (with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Women's and Gender Studies) from Syracuse University. Starting Fall 2011, he will also be pursuing his Ph.D. in English there. He is also at work on a novel exploring the lives of the Roman Empresses Julia Domna and Julia Maesa, and he regularly blogs about politics, culture, and writing.
