Mary Martin
Non-profit management, volunteer leadership and education have been primary in Mary's professional life. She taught art classes to both children and adults at DOD MWR, DOD Schools, Merced Junior College, Threlkeld Art Studio Workshops as well as elementary classrooms and community art groups. She enjoys drawing, painting, scale miniatures and many other hobbies, crafts, sewing and needle arts.
Mary held many positions with the Officers' Wives' Club and enjoyed taking advantage of writing for the club magazines, teaching arts & crafts as well as participating in gourmet cooking clubs.
Mary's many interests and talents blended well with her life as a military wife and mother of two. Serving as a Girl Scout leader for several years allowed her to share her many interests with both her daughters as well as volunteer in the community. Mary also served through the American Red Cross as a station manager, caseworker, disaster services volunteer/ instructor and community disaster education instructor/presenter.
