Motto

I do not believe in a restricted theology; I'm not a stepchild to a divinity of exclusion.

  • Unshod
Come unshod across a threshold of your own making.
  • The Moving Hand
Our return to the place we never left has been accomplished. We already are what we seek.
  • Sing
    I hear another song...
  • Where is Outside?
"Outside" is meaningless, an invention we made to hide from what we really are. It feels as if we are inside what we call "bodies".
  • A Profound Silence
A profound silence fills and defines and is, everything. The nightmares, their terror, all nothing. Shadows.
  • Home All Along
We each see our own version of the world. As one, we agree to its basic dimensions, and rules, like gravity. We forgot we made the world, and so deep is our forgetting that anyone who dares to declare otherwise is seen as crazy.
  • Deepest Heart
This is the hell we know. It is all we know. We catch glimpses, flashes of light, but the world is given precedence because it is so loud, so garish in its seeming assault on our senses. But all the while, One goes with us. That One is us.
  • The End of Dreams
We were created from perfect love, into perfect love. What appears as not love is an appeal to be loved, whether we recognize it or not. We already are everything.
  • My Prayer
I have no interest in precluding anyone's beliefs; we are all "here" to find our way, and we all use different methods. It follows that I would have no interest in convincing anyone of anything. I simply speak of what I feel deeply.
  • The Second Voice
What is "me"? Why do I still refer to "my" body as myself? Why do I look at these objects without automatically knowing they are part of me, pieces of my own mind? Why should that thought be so outrageous?
  • The Voice
It always seems hard when we bring teaching into practice in The Real World. We want little to do with our lofty beliefs when things are not going well. But what is the point of having them if we cannot use them to help us when we are in turmoil?
  • We Are That
We remain as created. This is where I place my faith. We already are our reality. We need not change into it.
  • World Beyond Words
The world is an illusion; the reality is beautiful beyond words, and we never left.
  • We Who Dream
We dream of chaos and call it balance. Hot and cold, up and down, happiness and sorrow, joy and despair. This chaos is the seat of ego's calamity. Ego is that part of our mind we made to function in the dream.
  • The Unlimited Whole Self
I can feel it in the cells of my body; in the validity of the Source of all there is; in the free and elastic reality that lies still beneath our demands to be chained...and all the while, we are free...
  • Only This
We keep reading, trying to understand. But which is it? Are we damned, or blessed? If we cannot untangle this burden, then let us release it, and begin again.
  • Our Peace
The only thing that makes sense to me is that "God" must be the truth of us. The reality behind that word: God, must be perfect love. Not jealousy, not anger, not any of the frailties we humans would place upon "Him", but just love.
  • One Perfect Moment
We do know what we are, we just taught ourselves to forget. The forgetting is but a bank of clouds, and we have but to ask our Self to guide us through, into the light. A hand is extended. We have but to realize we had not let go of it.
  • The Peace of the Ages
The reality is infinitely better than all our many beliefs. But where is this reality? It must be right here, where "we" seem to be. "Look. I am with you always." --Jesus Christ.
  • The Wonder Behind All There Is
Something in us knows how to breathe when we are otherwise engaged. It grows our nails, assimilates what we eat, cleans our blood. We ignore it, yet we are it.
  • There Are No Opposites
There is nothing anywhere that can damn you. You can deny yourself your own knowledge of this truth, but you cannot change it. Nothing is true but the truth. Nothing was created that had not been created.
  • The Love is Real
There is nothing outside us...what we call "God" is all around us...only this. Nothing else is real.
  • One Who Knows
It is deep, this universal despair. But with us walks One Who Knows. He knows our despair is unreal. Nothing unreal exists. As we see what "only the love is real" means, then doors open to us. Everything falls into place.
  • I Am Doing This!
We are perfectly able to awaken and see that we have been Home all along.
  • I Might Have Wept
Of what have I been afraid; to lie beside still waters, nearly dawn.
  • The Spontaneous Present
What we call memory is only our insistence on holding events/ images in our mind, rather than allowing them to disappear.
  • This is Our Dream
There is no "outside", so no thought or idea ever leaves its source. What could be more intimate? Everything is right "here". God (also known as All That Is) is right with us always; the Christ (our Self) is right with us...
  • Mind Beyond Words
Mind forms what we call physical life. It forms our brain, and simultaneously allows itself to become temporarily limited by that wrinkled thing in our skull. But of course mind knows it cannot be limited.
  • Do You Sense It?
Somebody's trying to tell us something. I think it's us.
  • Come, Dreamer, Wake
I believe that the world we see is coming from us, rather than at us.
  • One Calls to the One
The Song is eternal and all-inclusive. Nothing has happened, nor could it, to shake Heaven's Reality. All is as created.
  • As Clouds, He Leads Me Through
Are we actually seeing, or making images and calling them a world?
  • Calling
The question, "Who speaks thus?" has been coming to me for years. I don't pretend to have the answer.
  • The Sky
An experience of being beyond my "self"
  • I Am Free
Why should it seem strange, the idea that we could be one infinite Self? It might be so.
  • Prayers from We Who Dream
These are scattered throughout my ms, We Who Dream
  • Course of the River
I believe "life" is a dream; our dream, yours and mine, together, and as one. Here I tell about part of mine: Friendship, love...evident endings.
  • The World Never Happened
It might be true; it could be true; I think it is.
  • I Choose Sight
This is our dream, individually, and as one.
  • The Eastern Star
A prayer just before Christmas, 2009.
  • I Believe in the Light
A gold light, brought peace with it.
  • Look What I Dug Up!
A little stream of consciousness from nine years ago.
  • The Teaching of the Ages
We are "becoming" what we are. We are "changing" into who/what we have always been.
  • The Son Calls
A world of separation can never be. Every day, I prove to myself that the principles of A Course In Miracles work.
  • We Who Dream of Scattered Things
A spontaneous telling of the deepest heart.
  • The Son Speaks
It might be true. There could actually be "something" of which we are part; something that is only perfect love; something that just is, and that was not born, and that cannot die...and the world turns out to be but a dream.
  • Only This
We are one Self; the world is over; we but cling to a memory of an event that never happened.
  • Only This
We are not what we demand to be. None of the terrible things that have happened in our world ever really happened. The world is not coming at us, it is coming from us. Whatever God is, God is perfect Love. Only this.
  • Only This
We became afraid, forgot to laugh at the images (world) we made, then forgot we made...and that is all that there is. Nothing really happened but that we fell into sleep. Only this. We were created perfect by perfect love, and nothing can change that.
  • Only This
How many times have we awoke from a dream to exclaim, "It seemed so real!"
  • With You Always
A spontaneous essay in which I learn peace by teaching peace.
  • All You Need to Do ...
This is part of a collection of essays I've written, and continue to produce, under the title, Only This.
