Plenty of PolentaWith polenta I was confused. What is it? Was it corn like hominy, or another grain like oatmeal? Polenta is basically corn which is ground into cornmeal. These recipes can be made ahead of time and frozen, all with plenty of flavor and are fun to make.

Scones Not Stones!Scones make you think of a Sunday morning breakfast drinking coffee or tea, reading the morning paper, discussing the week. I used two recipes simple scones, and cream scones. I made both which were good. I just had to tweak them to make them mine.
