Eric Douglas
Eric Douglas is a principal consultant, president, and founder of Leading Resources Inc. He specializes in strategic planning, board governance and leadership development. His strength is designing planning processes that result in real, meaningful change and high performing organizations.
An honors graduate of Harvard University, Douglas has helped leaders at more than 100 different organizations develop effective strategic plans, improve systems of decision-making and governance, and provided counsel to dozens of executives and leaders around the world. He has designed and orchestrated complex planning processes for public sector agencies, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, utility companies, and technology companies.
Eric is an author. His most recent book is "Leading at Light Speed." It describes what leaders must do to build high performing organizations in times of accelerating change and complexity.
Eric's first book was "Straight Talk: Turning Communication Upside Down for Strategic Results." Focusing on specific tools of communication, Straight Talk® is used by more than 100,000 people worldwide. Eric has also written dozens of management articles on topics ranging from effective board governance to the habits of high performing teams.
Douglas has been recognized by the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) for his work. He has served on numerous boards of directors and devotes considerable time to charitable and community projects.
