After graduating from high school, I joined the military instead of hopping on the college train. I was slated to attend USC, but I had a deeper desire to see the world before focusing on studies in a classroom. The most rewarding foreign experience was volunteering at a non-profit in Korea that offers assistance to Korean adoptees (like myself).
