Danielle Sottosanti was a reporter at the Arizona Daily Star from May 2006 to August 2009. Her awards include a first-place Arizona Press Club award for growth and development reporting (2007) and second place in the Arizona Press Club's 2007 John Kolbe Politics and Government Reporting Award. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in November 2010 with a master's degree in English literature (MSc Literature and Modernity), she is currently working as a freelance writer.
