EMichele Paul
EMichele Paul is the founder of PoeticWorks, a published poet, freelance writer for local San Diego Arts & Entertainment events, and retired US Marine.
In 2004 she published her debut book, "Yes Girl...Even YOU!!!" and in 2010 she celebrated the release of her first CD, "Quiet Confidence". She is currently working on her sophmore book due out in 2011.
In addition to being an author and poet, she has successfully produced, promoted and hosted open mic events within San Diego county since November 2005. She has also promoted and produced an open mic at the world famous NuyoRican Poets Cafe.
She has also promoted venues around the country through PoeticWorks, an online community of artists.
She has been writing reviews on local concerts and performing arts events throughout San Diego county since 2009. She has had the opportunity to interview remarkable artists like Gill Sotu, Elaine Faye, Simply Rob (El Grito de Poetas in NYC), Paul Mabon (HBO Def Jam poet), and Johannes Lindstead (World Artist of the Year 2010).
EMichele Paul is originally from Beaumont, Texas. She currently resides in San Diego county with her family. She is a student at the University of Phoenix and is receiving a Bachelors in Communications.
When she is not writing, she spends time with her sons, dances salsa, volunteers, and hikes.
