theresa mckee

Born in a small Texas town, I have grown up with a rural attitude. Plano is now a suburb of Dallas, Texas and I live with my husband in the same area. In fact, we live in the one-hundred old home where I lived as a baby, in the mid 1950's. For all our married years, 35+, we have been restoring our old house, while raising kids and running our businesses. I owned and operated a Christian bookstore for almost 25 years before retiring and begin writing. My husband still owns a framing business and is working in the Dallas area. I enjoy the great outdoors as well as many hobbies involving construction, gardening, photography, building and organics. Sometimes I write with that Texas twang or drawl but my style is mainly an easy read. I love to write and voice my opinion and I like to remind people of the old days when things were much simpler, nostalgia, if you will. I have had several articles printed in our local newspaper and have written three unpublished books. I'm still working on the publishing part! I write to change the world and if that doesn't work at least I say what I belive to be important or helpful.
