Melody Moser
After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Travel Tourism Management, Melody began writing travel articles for numerous local, national and international publications. For the past ten years her work has appeared in publications such as AAA Going Places, TACA Airlines Explore magazine, What's Hot (a wrap for the Miami Herald), the Orlando Sentinel and the Daily Herald (Chicago).
Born and raised near Atlantic City in South Jersey, Melody is an avid traveler who has visited destinations as diverse as India, Turkey, Israel, Morocco, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Caribbean islands, Venezuela and 48 of the United States.
In 2005, she launched her travel blog, Journeys Near and Far, to provide readers with inspiration and advice on all things travel.
Melody also has a B.A. in Computer Science and has worked for 19 years as a Computer Specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration. Due to her love of history and archaeology she recently earned a certificate in Archaeology from Britain's Leicester University.
In addition to travel and writing, Melody enjoys spending time in nature, watching every movie she can, and researching vampires and other paranormal creatures for her fiction novels.
Melody is an active member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA), the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE).
