I discovered my love for reading and writing when I was about 4 years old and my Na Na and Paw Paw would read with me when we would visit. I wrote books even as a child and always loved English class. I was a writer for my high school newspaper's entertainment section and a features reporter for the Sac State Hornet, an award winning college newspaper. I also do freelance work for my community newspapers and magazines. I I topped off my studies with my Bachelor's Degree in English and a minor in Communications in 2000. I now work for a major health care insurance company and do freelance work part time.
