Michael Strauss
As both a person and a writer, I am still discovering myself. I attended Carnegie Mellon University, first as a computer science major, and eventually graduated with a degree in logic and computation with a minor in linguistics. In short, I truly had no clue what I wanted to do with my life.
I still don't fully know what I want to do, but I am becoming certain that writing is a part of my goals. I am currently focusing my writing on gaming, Pittsburgh, and college life, all of which are things I am highly familiar with.
I look forward to the day that I can say that I am a writer, not just that I write. Today is not that day, but that day continues to get closer with every word I write.
Update: As of May 11th, 2011, I was published in a short story anthology (Tales of Fortannis: Bard's Eye View). Maybe I won't be one tomorrow, but today I am a writer.
