Born in Cairns, Queensland Australia in 1985, I moved with my family to the promised land known as the US in the summer of 1990. Upon arrival, things appeared grim. You see, I grew up in a beautiful tropical climate where the temperature rarely dipped below 80 degrees. Then came Seattle. The tan faded, my lush blonde hair darkened, and my cynicism of this new home grew.
