Wendi
My name is Wendi. I am a mother of one girl and two boys, grandmother of two beautiful little girls, oldest of three sisters, daughter of wonderful parents, and girlfriend of the most caring man on earth.
While all of this sounds like a fairy tale out of a Disney script, compared to the life I lead...it is! It's the beginning of a very happy ending of my true story.
Within the past three years alone, I have experienced the serenity of recovery from Alcohol Addiction, the terror of admitting myself into a rehab for Anorexia/Bulimia, the joy of spending time with my loved ones, and just recently, the pain of watching my step-father recovering from a serious motorcycle accident that almost took his left leg.
Now, I feel blessed in the fact that I am able to convey my experiences and feelings through my writing. I use my writing as therapy for myself, while at the same time I hope that some of my misfortunes may be of benefit to others who find themselves traveling the same paths that I did.
