Gary Larand Hammontree
Growing up in the South in the 60's and 70's I was witness to the incredible changes those years brought to our country, their roots, and more importantly, the effect those changes have on our lives today, fifty years later.
Mine has been an incredible journey from seventeen year old art student, stockbroker, commodities broker, work in film and television, and finally, teacher. Over a thirty-eight year period, I was blessed in that if I saw something that interested me, I DID it. Now, having arrived where I had been unknowingly directed all of that time, all of those years, to where I was destined to be:in a classroom, teaching. Of all the things I have done, the variety of hats that I've worn, I am finally where I have always meant to be. In front of a classroom of students. This is the best time of my life and I thank God for his stewardship these last thirty-eight years.
