Carl Schuster
Carl holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from Columbia University, as well as a Single Engine Land Plane Pilot's Licesce with an Instrument Rating. He has organized and participated in a dozen high and sub Arctic Expeditions in northern North America. He has published articles in "The Beaver, the magazine of the Canadian National Historical Society, "Mercator's World", a magazine devoted to antiquarian maps and globes, "The Explorers Journal", the quarterly of The Explorers Club, and "The Portolan", the journal of the Washington, D.C., Map Society, as well as several General Aviation Magazines. He has delivered presentations to The Explorers Club, The Society for the History of Discoveries, and The Mercator Society of The New York Public Library.
