Laura Restrepo Ortega

I am a recent university graduate, having completed a Creative Writing degree, majoring in journalism at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. I also want to work professionally as a photographer and documentary filmmaker. I hope to one day work for the National Geographic and the UN.
Although I mostly focus on non-fiction writing, I also enjoy poetry and micro-fiction.
I was born in Medellin, Colombia, where I lived most of my life. I lived in Peterborough, Canada for a short time, and then spent five years in Brisbane, Australia. I am now travelling, currently in Sri Lanka.
