Charlie Oliver
Charlie Oliver's years of experience on the battlefield of old media include working in advertising in New York at such entertainment goliaths as BBDO Worldwide and Condé Nast's "Allure Magazine", to working in television production on sitcoms and dramas at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks.
From managing script departments to working extensively with writers and producers in the development and execution of stories and scripts, Charlie considers television production to be her foundation (and bootcamp) into the world of media and entertainment.
Charlie eventually made the leap from television production to independent film working as a coordinator and manager at the Sundance Film Festival for several years and then as a creative/development manager at such Oscar-winning indie film companies as Andrew Lauren Productions and Belladonna Productions where she was instrumental in seeking out new film projects for development.
She segued seamlessly into new media at the helm of such web video projects a "Real Women Respond to Sarah Palin" and developing, managing and writing for blogs incorporating and experimenting with social media tools.
