Carmen Shafer, CSP, CHST, CRIS is a construction safety professional with over 12 years of experience in the construction industry. Carmen owns and operates a safety consulting firm, Shafer Safety Solutions, LLC, located in Caldwell, Ohio and services clients in the Great Lakes, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. Carmen is a trainer and educator, working with local schools and universities to develop and implement workforce development and community education programs. Carmen is an active member of Toastmasters, NAHB, AGC of America Safety and Health Committee, and the ANSI A10 Committee. Carmen assists her husband in running their Boer Goat farm and is developing a historical medicinal herb garden. Carmen's hobbies include travel, history, gardening, historical reenactments, jewelry making, and art.
