I was born and raised in a small town in northern Illinois. I graduated high school and joined the army. While enlisted, I attended language school in Monterrey, California where I studied Russian. After leaving the service, I took on various jobs for a short time. Then I enrolled into Rock Valley Junior college and received an associates degree in physical education. While I was there, one of the head English professors took me aside and informed me that in his opinion I clearly had a gift for writing. If he was correct in his appraisal, then I've been allowing this gift to lay dormant for far too long. The time has come for me to develop and expose my work. This marks the beginning of that project.
