I have been a single mother for the past 13 years. We moved from Boston to Lancaster County Pennsylvania at the same time that I became a single mom. I was born in Florida, and still call myself a rebel....lol. We moved from Florida to California when I was 5, and then settled in Massachusetts when I was 14. I have been to a lot of places and have been lucky enough to witness many historic events. Unfortunately some have been tragic, but not all were. I have always been very interested in history, and I am happy to say, that interest has been passed down to my children.
I am a PTSD sufferer, caused by a near fatal car accident my daughter and I were in 4 years ago. My daughter also suffers from this. We both also have anxiety and panic problems, but cope with it.
I love to write, read, create, love my family and friends, travel, a good cup of tea, the Christmas season, and finding time to be still.
Living with a disability has taught me a lesson on how the system really doesn't care all that mush for people. My goal is to someday be able to help others who suffer from PTSD, and cannot find any help, and to also help single Moms in some way.

Writing helps me to cope with my problems, as does reading. Getting lost in a book, or in a story that I am writing, allows me to drift away from all that is bothering me.
