Derek Edmisten
I am a native of Boone, NC, a tourist and college town in the mountains. Neslted in these isolated but comforting peaks I developed a love of reading and writing early on. I currently work as an elementary school librarian in Roxboro, NC, and live in the state's capital, Raleigh. Needless to say, my great passion in life is reading, but I also find the time to enjoy pets, movies, music, and shopping. I am working on my first fiction novel, a mystery/thriller with horror and religious elements. My goal is to self-publish my book and achieve my dream of being a "published writer."
