Last night I had a reoccurring nightmare that I was beaten by police in Chicago and strung up on an iron pole and mocked for three days, all for wearing the wrong shoes. Violence, angst and a penchant for the strange sums up my background, sprinkled with many bizarre ideas gone awry. Sometimes it's best to keep quiet about these things, for fear of looking like a fool. Other times it helps to talk about it.
