I have been writing ever since I can remember... I started with poetry when I was a child, usually the silly rhyming type, which later grew into poems on teenage angst and puppy love!
As I matured, my writing thankfully did as well. It has carried me through some of the darkest and most joyful times of my life, providing me with the outlet I so needed to express, create and experience life.
Writing is my filter to the world, the way that I communicate best. I have written several books, from fiction, short stories and poetry to childrens books and nonfiction. I just recently turned down a promotion and quit my job in order to actively persue my passion for writing full time!
