Steve Szirom
Has been sailing since 1978 and holds an active U.S. Coast Guard Masters License. He owned sailboats from 1977-1981 (Tayana 37'), 1991-2006 (Beneteau 39'). He crewed on many vessels, such as, Tatoosh 51, Nordic 44, Hunter 41, Islander 36, J-24, and others. He has extensive sailing experience in coastal and bay waters, incluiding San Francisco Bay, Monterey Bay, Puget Sound, Gulf Islands, USA and Mexico Pacific coasts, and the Sea of Cortez. He recently completed the Baja Ha-Ha (Class of 2009). He speaks a bit of Hungarian, French and Spanish. Other interests include tennis, cycling, chess, gourmet cooking, film/video production, movies, fitness, Internet, computers, others. He is a business consultant and analyst in the high-tech industry with industry experience in the semiconductor industry.
