I have a degree in forestry and one in business administration. I feel my writing skills were improved significantly by intensive study of German Language at University. The rules of sentence and paragraph structure; along with subjunctive,dative cases, etc. are simple with absolutely NO exceptions. I Wish English were so obedient to rules.
