I was raised in a small farming community in southeastern Ohio. I have three years as a reporter/photographer for two small newspapers. I also have ten years experience working for a non profit mental health agency in peer centers. I am currently working on my writing career and am a substitute teacher. I just recently had a children's book accepted by SBPRA. The title of the children's book is The Mighty Pond Hoppers.
I was a sports reporter and writer for two years at the Caldwell Journal, a small weekly newspaper in southeastern Ohio. I was also a sports editor for the Caldwell Journal from 1995-1997. I was also a sports reporter for the Daily Jeffersonian and the Byesville Reporter for three months in 1997. In high school I played varsity girls basketball, softball, track and cross country. In college, I played intramural basketball and flag football. I also have experience as an assistant girls basketball coach, lifeguard and was softball score keeper for a church league for two years. I received my basketball referee license from the Ohio State University.
I love the outdooor, traveling and spending time with family and close friends.
