Megan is a writer based in New York City. Most recently, she was a Senior Director and Business Manager within the Global Research and Economics group at Merrill Lynch for the Investment Strategy Group. In early 2009, Megan decided to resign from her position to spend time with her young daughter, Sophia, and focus on a career in writing.
Prior to research management, and after obtaining an MBA from Georgetown Universiy, Megan worked in Merrill Lynch's Global Wealth Management group, first within the global marketing organization and then within Advisory Division as a Business Strategist and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Megan has also enjoyed a career in the hotel industry as a Sales and Marketing Director at hotels and resorts in multiple states, and as a PR/Marketing Strategist with a small agency in Southern California.
Megan is originally from Chicago, but currently resides in New York City. She is married with one daughter, Sophia Elizabeth.
