Darren has been employed for several years in a major national grocery chain and is currently a service department assistant manager. His education includes two years of theology (with a focus on Biblical greek) and one year of history completed at Southern Adventist University, as well as completing classes in photography with the New York Institute of Photography. Work experience includes 17 years manufacturing with 9 years in management in a national corporation, four years as a CNA, 4 years in customer service, and various farming occupations. As one who continues to pursue self-improvement, Darren has attended several seminars; Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Civil Treatment for Managers, and Lessons in Leadership are just a few of these courses. He also enjoys informal learning and reads books on science, history, family, parenting, and marriage.
