What is Stevia?Stevia is a small shrub in the chrysanthemum family originally from North-eastern Paraguay and neighbouring regions of Brazil. The Guarani Native Indians from the area have used Stevia for over 1500 years as a sweetener in yerba mate ( a type of tea).
