I began my communications career as a reporter for the Claremore Daily Progress newspaper in Claremore, OK. Having spent 20+ years in corporate communications, I have worked with Fortune 100 companies such as Georgia-Pacific Corp., Equifax, Inc., and American Express. After a recent layoff from Amex, I decided to pursue a career in travel writing. I have undergraduate and master degrees in communications and have traveled extensively. My dream now is to write about past places I've visited and about new ones to come!
