Hope L Brock
I am a 28-year-old wife and frazzled mother of two, three if you count my husband. I have a wonderful husband who I married seven years ago and has accepted my son as his own. After one physically abusive relationship of four years and an emotionally abusive relationship that ended in a divorce and a baby, my husband was my knight in shining armor. He has even adopted my son and gave him our last name. We love each other more every day, and cannot ever imagine us not wanting to spend our lives together.
Our son has had difficulties keeping up with kids of his own age physically and sometimes mentally. He is eight and has had three surgeries in the past two years. Our daughter was born almost five years ago, and is a true combination of my husband and me. She is beautiful and smart, and tries your patience everyday. This is my life and my future. I live everyday believing that I live in my own type of paradise.
I have been writing for over twenty years. My first love of writing was poetry. I live in Galesburg, Illinois, the famous home of poet Carl Sandburg. I also like to write fiction novels, although I have yet to finish one. I work as a full time certified pharmacy technician, and like to spend my free time (when I have any) listening to music and watching movies.
