I've been a freelance healthcare writer/author (five books) for almost 20 years. My work has appeared in just about every local publication--from the Plain Dealer to New Cleveland Woman--and national ones as well, including Aging Today, Arthritis Today and Continental Airlines in-flight magazine, Profiles.
Prior to making the jump into freelancing, I was special sections editor for Cleveland Jewish News, the Jewish community newspaper for Cleveland, Ohio.
I cover consumer health and medical issues, with special emphasis on women's health, nutrition and fitness, and management of chronic medical and health conditions (such as diabetes or obesity).
