Cindy Pierce
Cindy Pierce is a part time freelance writer with a deep love for nature. Her love of nature includes, and often transcends, the scientific aspects of life on this rich earth. Born and raised in
Dallas, Texas, Cindy is a city girl with a country heart. Recently entering her 5th decade of life, she continues her studies in geology and horticulture. However Cindy believes experience is her
greatest teacher, as it truly is with all of us. Since the age of 14, Cindy adapted, as most of us do, to working for a living in the corporate world. Even so, the call of nature never left her
heart. She plants an organic vegetable garden on her suburban lot every year, feeds the wild birds daily, has two cats, an elderly dog and tropical fish as pets, and enjoys exploring new locales and
terrain. In addition to her love of nature, Cindy is fiercly loyal to her friends and family. Although she has no children, she considers her nieces, nephews and the children and grandchildren of her
friends as her own. It is her goal as a writer to share stories and information that will not only entertain her readers, but will enlighten them to the divine kinship we have to each other and to
all living things.
