Ellie Perico
I'm a married mother of an amazing 1 year old daughter. While one of my passions is writing, for the last 4 years, I have worked in law enforcement. Prior to that, however, I was in education as an elementary, middle and high school teacher for approximately 8 years and as an assistant for 5 years. I love the two careers I've had, however, my passion and number one hobby has always been writing. I love to write about many topics, especially the two fields I'm so passionate about. Now that I'm a mother, however, I also love to write about nutrition, parenting issues, advice, new mommy trends, etc. In addition, I'm also very interested in food and dining & health and fitness. Being a parent, I want to encourage health, nutrition and fitness with my daughter so that we can be a healthy family! I come from a diverse background having moved to the United States from Argentina when I was 8 years and believe it gives me a unique perspective when it comes to writing. Learning about different cultures and their practices was also the focus of my graduate education. I have a MA in Multicultural Education and hope that, with my writing experience online and my knowledge about so many different topics, I can turn writing into a third career!
