Jim Kanavy
My music library is stocked, cocked and ready to rock but there's always room for more. I love to play music, listen to music, write about music, read about music and if I could find a way to cook it I'd probably eat music (Memphis Style of course!).
Someone once said there is no bad music, just music you like and music you don't. Apparently they never heard Britney Spears or Justin Bieber. Yes, I am a bit opinionated about music and I'm not afraid to share it! I hope you enjoy the opinions I share here and on my website - www.jimkanavy.com.
Special thanks go out to my wife for putting up with my obsession and occasional random rantings!

Santana Turned Away at the Gates of Guitar HeavenSantana's website says the new CD "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics Of All Time" is a concept album. If the concept was bloated, over-produced, pedestrian, uninspired covers of somewhat dubious "guitar" classics then I'd say they hit the mark.

I decided to listen again to some main offenders. Are they still as bad as I remember? I look back at 13 bad albums by artists I love and see what I learned.
