Abranches DSylva

I was born in the year 1946, just one year prior to independence. I received my education in Catholic Schools run by Jesuit priests. My father had served in WWWII and he had seen action in Iraq. I joined Indian Railways as an apprentice at an early age of 19. I had risen to the post of Mechanical Engineer. After serving for full 41 years, I had retired in the year 2006.

I love to travel; I have traveled extensively in India and I have been to United Arab Emirates. Museums and Zoos interest me a lot. I am fond of automobiles. I go long distance driving. I am fond of reading, but now I do most of my reading on the internet. I try my writing skills in blog sites. I mostly write on the subjects that relate to religion and philosophy.
