Hands-R-Us
"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." Mother Teresa
We are all concerned about our health. Rightly so ... But, how many times have you thought about the health of your hands? Daily, I speak with patients that have to live with the pain and discomfort in their hands. As most primary care doctors, patients do not know the etiology of their pain. They have tried myriad of therapies; acupuncture, hand massage, lasers, or splints. Finally, they came to the hand surgeon and were told that they are too late. Too late to save the sensation in their finger-tips, to get their full range of motion in the fingers.
My goal is to describe most common issues that affect your hands. Most of the articles will contain examples from office visits, to describe to you what real people feel.
Feel free to send me your questions and your experience with hand issues.
