    50 year old Barry Gay of Chicago IL was found dead the morning of July 25,2007 in a car parked in the parking lot of the Hines VA Hospital of Maywood,IL. Did you hear about this? Maybe not, possibly due to the fact that he was a "peace time veteran."

    "God bless America." One of America's favorite songs echoed in many classrooms and public gatherings. I can even recall what seemed like only yesterday, the elegant sense of pride that filled my heart when my classmates and I sang that song.
